Papercutting Workshop: Alabang Town Center
with Mansy Abesamis

About the workshop

Learn how to make intricate papercuts that you can frame as artworks or give out as gifts.

About the artist

Mansy Abesamis is a Manila-based crafter, jewelry designer, and papercut artist. Her crafting beginnings goes as far back as her childhood in the province (of Pangasinan) where she learned how to make her own toys from every-day stuff at home. This explains her paper cutting inspiration being drawn mostly from everything nature, home, and just about anything warm and earthy.

She now owns a brick-and-mortar craft shop where she spends most of her time paper cutting intricate designs of trees, flowers, landscapes, and everything in between. You may catch her down the streets of Katipunan in her quaint shop holding workshops and gatherings on all kinds of crafts, or up in the mountains getting inspiration.
